The coming-of-age drama The Book of Jobs is kicking off production this month, and its cast is shaping up to be amazing. Victoria Pedretti and Judy Greer just joined this promising project, which hails from writer/director Kayci Lacob.

The Book of Jobs will center on a teenage girl Claudia growing up in Silicon Valley. Steve Jobs’ triumphant return to Apple reshapes her life and has an outsized influence on her imagination, ambitions, and relationships.

Newcomer Abigail Donaghy (Bupkis) will play the lead role, while Pedretti (You and The Haunting Of Bly Manor) will play the older version of her character. The cast will also include Judy Greer (Jurassic World) as her mother, Rich Sommer (Mad Men) as her father, along with Lola Flanery (The 100) and Utkarsh Ambudkar (Ghosts).

Kayci Lacob is directing the film from her own script, with Tom Nunan producing it through Bull’s Eye Entertainment. He released an official statement saying they’re “thrilled to have such a prolific and talented group of actors on board and look forward to seeing them bring these wonderful characters to life.”

The Book of Jobs will kick off principal photography in Tulsa and Bartlesville, Oklahoma and its release date is yet to be announced.
