Another MTV Movie & TV Awards ceremony is behind us, and it was definitely a big night for Marvel and Disney+. WandaVision topped the list of winners with a total of four awards, while The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was a close second with two wins.

WandaVision previously topped the list of nominations with a total of six nods and came out victorious in most of the categories it was nominated in. Most notably, it picked up the trophy for the best show, beating the likes of The Boys, Bridgerton, Cobra Kai, and Emily in Paris.

Elizabeth Olsen collected the award for best performance in a show for the role of Wanda Maximoff aka Scarlet Witch, while Kathryn Hahn was crowned as the best villain. Both actresses shared the award for the best fight between Wanda and Agatha.

The Falcon and the Winter Soldier was another big winner for Disney+ with two awards – best hero and best duo. The list of major winners also included To All the Boys: Always and Forever (best movie), Chadwick Boseman (best performance in a movie for Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom), and Regé-Jean Page (best breakout performance for Bridgerton).

The 2021 MTV Movie & TV Awards took place on May 16th and 17th, with Leslie Jones hosting the festivities.
