Want to see a glimpse of Harley Quinn in Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn), the Suicide Squad spin-off? You’ll have to wait a long time. Or else you might choose to go to see It: Chapter Two in the theater.
According to Digital spy, Warner Bros. have decided that the new teaser for the anticipated flick would not go online. Instead, it will be played only in theaters, before screenings of It: Chapter Two.
It is not the first time such a strategy is being used in order to lure the audience to the cinemas. The screenings of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood were preceded by a teaser for Christopher Nolan’s Tenet that has not yet been uploaded online.
Margot Robbie will of course reprise her role as Harley Quinn. She will be joined by Mary Elizabeth as Huntress, Jurnee Smollett-Bell as Black Canary, Ella Jay Basco as Cassandra Cain and Rosie Perez as Gotham City police detective Renee Montoya. Ewan McGregor will play Black Mask and Chris Messina will play the sadistic serial killer Victor Zsasz.
The movie is due to be released on February 7, 2020.
