Warner Bros. Delays 4 DC Movies

The ongoing COVID-19 pandemic is still wreaking havoc on the theater-going landscape, making the studios constantly trying to adapt to new situations and moving around movies’ release dates.

After Disney’s clearing of their 2020 schedule, and the new bond movie, No Time to Die, postponement to Easter of 2021, the latest news is Warner Bros. changes in schedule.

The studio has now delayed four DC movies: The Batman. The Flash, Black Adam, and Shazam 2. Wonder Woman: 1984 is still set for a December release date, though.

The Batman was originally set for an October 1st, 2021 release, and the new date for is set for March 4th, 2022, while Dune gets the original spot. The Flash, which was supposed to be released on June 3rd, 2022, is moved to November 4th, 2022. This was the original date for Shazam 2, which is now moved to June 2, 2023. Black Adam which was set for a December 22th, 2022 release is now completely off the studio’s release schedule. June 3rd and August 5th of 2022 are still open for yet-to-be-announced DC movies.
