The first look at Pixar’s forthcoming animated existential adventure feature is here.

The trailer, which dropped Thursday, is a sneak peek to Soul which follows a middle school music teacher, voiced by Jamie Foxx, who dreams of being a jazz performer. But when he finally gets the gig of a lifetime, he gets into an accident which sends his soul to the pearly gates and more specifically to the You Seminar, a celestial workshop that creates souls and gives them personalities before sending them off to human bodies.

“We only have a short time on this planet,” Foxx’s character says in the new trailer. “You want to become the person you were born to be. Don’t waste your time on all the junk of life. Spend your precious hours doing what will bring out the real you, the brilliant passionate you that’s willing to contribute something meaningful to this world.”

The voice cast also includes Questlove, Phylicia Rashad, and Daveed Diggs.

Soul hits theaters June 19, 2020.
