The Golden Globe and Emmy winning series Transparent is going out with a bang. Amazon Prime has revealed the first trailer and we are going to be treated to a two-hour episode – a musical finale.
“When the Pfeffermans face a life-changing loss, they begin a journey hilarious and melancholy, brazen and bold. As they face this new transition, they confront grief and come together to celebrate connection, joy, and transformation,” read the synopsis for the episode.
The finale will star all the main cast and characters from throughout the series running, all except for actor Jeffrey Tambor who got fired due to allegations of sexual harassment made against him. The show creators said that the finale will kill off the character.
Transparent will be available in Amazon Prime on September 27.
