Steven Spielberg revives the 1980s sci-fi anthology series Amazing Stories on Apple TV. Now the streaming service has released a trailer for the upcoming series.

The new trailer promises five different stories involving aliens, weird anomalies, superheroes, and more. The series will be executive produced by Steven Spielberg, Edward Kitsis, and Adam Horowitz. Spielberg first created the series in 1985 and it ran until 1987 on NBC. The acclaimed director wrote and directed some of the episodes himself. The show won five Emmy Awards.

Work on the new series is ongoing for several years now. The development of the series was reported in October 2017 and Spielberg has appeared on the introduction trailer for Apple TV when it was announced in March 2019.

The official synopsis of the new show reads: “From visionary executive producers Steven Spielberg and Edward Kitsis & Adam Horowitz, this reimagining of the classic anthology series transports everyday characters into worlds of wonder, possibility, and imagination.”

Amazing Stories premieres on Apple TV on March 6.
