Joe and Anthony Russo released the first teaser for Cherry starring Tom Holland.
The film is based on Nico Walker’s novel of the same name and the title comes from the name of the movie’s protagonist played by Holland. Cherry is an army veteran who suffers from PTSD following his experiences in the Middle East. He returns home and struggles with drug addiction and crime.
Cherry marks the filmmakers’ first outing following Avenger’s: Endgame and it’s the first time the directors and the actor have worked together on a non-MCU movie.
In the short trailer teaser, we see a fresh out of high school, eager to make something out of his life Cherry head to his local army recruitment office and explain why he wants to enlist in the United States Army. The recruitment office takes advantage of this immediately and the next day, Cherry’s sworn in.
Cherry arrives in theaters on February 26 and debuts globally on Apple TV+ on March 12.
