We’re already wishing it was October after learning all the things we have to look forward to in season 4 of Riverdale.
Members of the cast joined showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa at San Diego Comic-Con for the Riverdale panel which included telling fans that the upcoming season is going to be rather musical.
Readers of the Archie comics know that Archie Andrews starts his own band.
KJ Apa’s character will follow suit on screen as he decides to get his friends together (Betty, Veronica, and Jughead) to form The Archies which will compete in The Battle of the Bands.
“When I originally pitched the TV series in my mind the end of Season 1 was going to be a big battle of the bands between The Archies and The Pussycats and of course, the show then became what it became and as we were getting ready to do a bunch of stories set in the high school because it’s senior year, I was like, ‘it’s this year or never’ so we’re doing a Battle of the Bands episode which I think will be really, really fun,” Aguirre-Sacasa said.
Riverdale better get ready to rock!
