The iconic television comedy is set to return to television with a sequel.

Sony Pictures Television is currently working on a sequel series to Who’s the Boss? with original stars Tony Danza and Alyssa Milano to reprise their roles.

The sequel will take place 30 years after the original series and it will center around a former major-league baseball player and retired housekeeper Tony Micelli (Danza) and his relationship with his daughter Samantha Micelli (Milano). Samantha is now a single mother, living in the house where the original series was set.

As of now, original cast members Judith Light and Danny Pintauro aren’t attached to the series, but they could be if the creators find a way to work their characters into the new show.

Who’s the Boss? ran from 1984-1992 and received 10 Emmy nominations and five Golden Globes.

Who’s the Boss? is the latest sitcom to get a reboot or revival. It follows One Day at a Time, Full House, Murphy Brown, Will & Grace, and Roseanne.
