Ariana Grande is no stranger to surprise album releases, and it seems she has another one on the way. The Grammy-winning artist recently told her Twitter followers that her next album is hitting the shelves later this month.
Grande announced the news by tweeting, “i can’t wait to give u my album this month” and left it at that. Not much is known about her next LP at this point in time, but this tweet sent her fans into a total frenzy because it was preceded by teasers from the studio in the last few weeks.
Grande hit no. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart earlier this year with her Justin Bieber collaboration “Stuck with U” and Lady Gaga collaboration “Rain on Me”. She also revealed she recorded a song with Doja Cat in an interview with Zane Lowe but said she’s not planning to release it during the pandemic.
“It’s a great time to create because you’re stuck with your thoughts and left in your head a little bit … But also, I don’t really feel comfortable putting anything out right now, because it’s just like other than this, it’s a really tricky time for all of that,” explained Grande back in May.
