Willow Smith, daughter of Hollywood power couple Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith, has a new album coming out next month. Smith confirmed on social media that her fifth studio effort, titled Lately I Feel Everything, will be released on July 16th.

The announcement came via a short teaser clip posted on Instagram.

Smith previously shared some details about the release, saying that she started working on the record midway through 2020 by making several demos. According to her, the project will see her “channel rock, pop-punk and emo heroes she adored as a teenager,” including the likes of Avril Lavigne, My Chemical Romance, and Paramore.

The album’s first single, “t r a n s p a r e n t s o u l,” on which she teamed up with Blink 182’s drummer Travis Baker, came out back in April.

Willow Smith had a busy 2020, releasing the collaborative album The Anxiety with her boyfriend and fellow musician Tyler Cole. She also presented the album R I S E, which saw her working with British kirtan musician Jahnavi Harrison.

On top of her music projects, Smith also co-hosts the talk show Red Table Talk alongside her mother and grandmother. Her presence on the show proved to be quite popular among the viewers, and she already got her two Daytime Emmy Awards nominations in the Outstanding Informative Talk Show Host category.
