XXXTentacion has achieved something in death that he sadly never did in life.
The rapper was fatally shot last June in an apparent robbery whilst leaving the Riva Motorsports motorcycle dealership in Deerfield Beach, Florida.
His death, at age 20, was mourned by many in the music industry, such as Kanye West and Lil Wayne, who decided to use samples previously recorded by the late rapper on their future albums.
Now, 7 months after XXXTentacion’s passing, his family has reason to smile again. The hitmaker’s girlfriend, Jenesis Sanchez, has given birth to his first and only child.
XXXTentacion’s mother, Cleopatra Bernard, announced Gekyume Onfroy’s birth, with the baby boy’s name derived from a word the rapper created before his death meaning “a different state” or “next universe of thought”.
We’re sure the Bad! rapper is proud wherever he is.
