The Walking Dead universe just got a little bigger.
Just in case you were dreading where to get your zombie fix once the series wraps up, AMC has your back.
The network has given the green light to yet another spin-off, titled Tales of the Walking Dead that will feature one hour-long standalone episodes. Six episodes have been ordered so far.
“This series, more than any other in the Walking Dead Universe, runs on new voices, perspectives, and ideas — bringing to life stories unlike any we’ve told before,” stated Scott M. Gimple who is the Chief Content Officer of the Walking Dead Universe.
Two spin-offs of the post-apocalyptic drama already exist, with another focusing on Daryl and Carol, and an anthology series, already in the works.
The 11th and final season of The Walking Dead premiered in August and is set to conclude its 24-episode run in 2022.
