Olivia Rodrigo’s pop punk-inspired smash hit “Good 4 U” is one of the songs this summer will be remembered by, and Camila Cabello seems to love it as much as the rest of us. She recently appeared on BBC’s Radio 1 Live Lounge and rocked our world with the amazing cover of this chart-topping track.

Before performing the cumbia-inspired version of “Good 4 U”, the Grammy-nominated singer sang praises to Rodrigo. She described her as a really amazing artist and said she loves many of the songs that she’s released, but there’s a reason why she opted to cover “Good 4 U”.

“I feel like she’s such an incredible vocalist. This song was a challenging song to practice. It’s really high and demands a lot of breath, and I was excited to do it because I like her punk rock vibe,” explained Cabello before her performance.

In addition to covering “Good 4 U”, she also performed her latest single “Don’t Go Yet”, set to be featured on her upcoming third album Familia. This album isn’t the only exciting project that she’s currently promoting – she recently made her acting debut with the titular role in Amazon’s musical Cinderella.
