YoungBoy Never Broke Again made quite a splash with his latest album Sincerely, Kentrell, and its success on the Billboard 200 reflects that. His latest LP debuted atop this chart, becoming his fourth record so far to do so.

YoungBoy hit no. 1 with 137,000 equivalent album units earned during the album’s first week on the chart. It managed to dethrone Drake’s former no. 1 album Certified Lover Boy, which moved to the second spot after a three-week reign, while Lil Nas X’s Montero fell down to no. 3.

Sincerely, Kentrell was released on September 24, and it was preceded by singles “Toxic Punk”, “White Teeth”, “Nevada”, “Life Support”, and “On My Side”. Sincerely, Kentrell is a rare hip-hop album that managed to climb atop the Billboard 200 without featuring any collaborations, but that’s not the only thing that makes it special.

YoungBoy also became the first hip-hop artist to have a no. 1 album in each of the last three years. Back in 2020, he also hit the no. 1 spot with his second studio album Top. He also reached no. 1 with his mixtapes 38 Baby 2 from 2020 and AI YoungBoy 2 from 2019.
