Zack Snyder fans have been waiting a long time for some updates on the Justice League director’s cut and the long wait is about to end. Snyder revealed that the teaser trailer for the project will debut during the DC FanDome event next month.

The director has confirmed this during a panel at Justice Con, an event dedicated to Justice League. During the panel, he shared some details on the movie, including a clip showing Superman’s black suit. “I will tell you guys, at Fandome there will be more footage so you can look forward to a bigger meal, if you will. You don’t have to watch just the same three shots over and over again… That clip [the black suit Superman clip] is more for fans…it’s the realization of an idea.”

Although Snyder directed Batman v. Superman and Man of Steel and is still credited with directing Justice League, the end result is very different from his vision. He left Justice League unfinished and Joss Whedon took over the helm for extensive rewrites and reshoots. The end result met with disappointment from critics and audiences alike.

This resulted in a call to release Snyder’s cut—which is due to happen next year on HBO.
