Zack Snyder’s “Army of the Dead” Trailer: Vegas Zombies are on the Loose

The official trailer for Zack Snyder’s Army of the Dead has been released and this zombie apocalypse has a Vegas twist.

Starring Dave Bautista as Scott Ward, a former zombie war hero who lives in the outskirts of Las Vegas and flips burgers for a living. His life starts to change after a casino boss (Hiroyuki Sanada) offers him $50 million to break into a zombie-infested quarantine zone to get $200 million that’s sitting in a vault beneath the Strip. He only has 32 hours to do it before the government nukes the city. Ward hopes the money will help him reconcile with his estranged daughter (Ella Purnell), so he gets together a ragtag team of experts for the heist.

Co-starring in the film are Ana De La Reguera, Omari Hardwick, Tig Notaro, Raúl Castillo, Samantha Win, Nora Arnezeder, Theo Rossi Garret Dillahunt, Matthias Schweighöfer, Huma S. Qureshi, Richard Cetrone, and Michael Cassidy co-star.

Snyder is directing from a script he wrote with Shay Hatten and Joby Harold, based on a story by Snyder. Snyder produced the film with Deborah Snyder and Wesley Coller.

Army of the Dead will be opened in theaters on May 14 with the film debuting on Netflix a week later. Check out the trailer below.
