About a month ago, Zayn Malik tweeted he’s working on a new album and promised that a few surprises are on the way. The former One Direction star kept his promise. Zayn’s new single Sour Diesel just dropped and it’s a perfect blend of dance and rock music.
This funky summer is definitely one crazy ride since it starts off slow before transforming into an infectious groovy melody. The audio is available on all the streaming services and Zayn’s YouTube channel, but the video is another story. It’s currently streaming exclusively on Apple Music and those not using the service can only see a short teaser.
Zayn is staying true to his “bad boy” persona in his latest music video, where he assumes the role of nighttime vigilante hero. He steals a jewel from a mafia boss and ends up being beaten within an inch of his life, before his partner in crime comes to the rescue.
Sour Diesel is fourth single from Zayn’s second studio album he’s currently working on. It will also feature songs Let Me and Entertainer, plus his epic collaboration with Sia called Dusk Till Dawn. Date of release remains unknown, but it’s definitely worth the wait.
