Ryan Reynolds is tapped to play the lead in Netflix’s time-traveling movie The Adam Project and it turns out he’ll be in some great company. Zoe Saldana and Jennifer Garner have joined the cast of this sci-fi action movie, directed by Shawn Levy.
The Adam Project will center on a man who has to travel back in time to get help from the 13-year old version of himself. Garner will play the boy’s mother, while Saldana has been cast as the wife of Reynolds’ adult character, who also happens to be a fighter pilot.
Garner is no stranger to collaborating with Netflix. She’s been voicing one of the characters in the streamer’s children’s animated series Llama Llama and she’ll soon appear in the Netflix comedy Yes Day, alongside Edgar Ramírez and Jenna Ortega.
Zoe Saldana still hasn’t starred in any Netflix originals, but she’s pretty busy with other high-profile projects. She’s set to reprise her role as Neytiri in the upcoming Avatar sequels, starting with Avatar 2 which is scheduled to be released in 2022.
