Thirteen reasons definitely weren’t enough.
After 2 successful seasons, 13 Reasons Why has now been renewed for a third. The Netflix series based on the Jay Asher novel follows the story of Hannah Baker who leaves 13 cassette tapes detailing the reasons behind taking her own life.
The second season, which premiered on the streaming network on the 18th of May, took a different route as it surpassed Asher’s original story and expanded further on the fallout from Hannah’s death.
According to Netflix, production on season 3 will begin later this year and also include 13 episodes as did the previous two.
Last month, Katherine Langford, who plays Hannah, announced that she will not be returning to the series.
