Arnold Schwarzenegger had a successful open-heart surgery on Thursday and is now feeling stable according to the actor’s representative Daniel Ketchell. The Schwarzenegger’s first word after he woke up were “I’m back”, so we have nothing to worry about.

Ketchell explained that Schwarzenegger replaced a pulmonic valve that was originally replaced in 1997.

“That 1997 replace valve was never meant to be permanent, and has outlived its life expectancy, so he chose to replace it yesterday through a less-invasive catheter valve replacement,” Ketchell wrote on his Twitter profile. “During that procedure, an open-heart surgery team was prepared, as they frequently are in these circumstances, in case the catheter procedure was unable to be performed.”

Schwarzenegger’s representative also added that the procedure was successful and that the 70-year-old actor “is currently recovering from the surgery and is in stable condition.”

Arnold Schwarzenegger underwent the 1997’s replacement although he didn’t feel any symptoms at the time.

“I’ve never felt sick or had any symptoms at all, but I knew I’d have to take care of this condition sooner or later,” he said in 1997 according to LA Times. “I said to the doctors, ‘Let’s do it now, while I’m young and healthy.’ They agreed this was the way to go.”

We hope Arnold Schwarzenegger will get back to his feet very soon since we are getting impatient about the upcoming Terminator movie. This new installment in Terminator franchise will reunite Schwarzenegger and creator James Cameron, while Tim Miller will take over the directing responsibilities. Besides playing T-800 once again, Schwarzenegger will also reprise his role of Trench Mauser in The Expendables 4.
