The Hangover franchise put Bradley Cooper on the map, and he’s gone a long way in the years to come. Despite finding success as a dramatic actor and director, Cooper recently revealed he’d do Hangover 4 “in an instant” if the opportunity presented itself.

Cooper took a walk down memory lane during a recent interview with The New Yorker Radio Hour and said he wouldn’t say “no” to returning for another Hangover movie.

“I would probably do Hangover 4 in an instant. Just because I love Todd, I love Zach, I love Ed so much, I probably would. I don’t think Todd is ever going to do that,” said Cooper.

All three films in the Hangover franchise were directed by Todd Phillips, who also made a genre shift in recent years with Joker. Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis, and Justin Bartha played lead roles alongside Cooper, forming a quartet of friends dealing with the consequences of their wild shenanigans by each other’s side.

After breaking into Hollywood with this comedy franchise, Cooper went on to receive four acting Oscar nods for Silver Linings Playbook, American Hustle, American Sniper, and A Star is Born. He made his directorial debut with the last film and continued his work as a director with the biopic Maestro, which hit the theaters last week.
