The third installment in the Deadpool franchise is one of the most-anticipated films of 2024, and we finally got a taste of things to come at the Super Bowl. The first teaser trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine is finally here, and it teases the reunion between the two beloved X-Men heroes.

Ryan Reynolds brought back his signature brand of humor to the first teaser for Deadpool & Wolverine, his first film in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. He’s gearing up to change the history of the MCU alongside Hugh Jackman as Wolverine, and the trailer does a brilliant job teasing his return without ever showing his face.

In addition to Reynolds and Jackman in the titular roles, this film will also star Emma Corrin, Morena Baccarin, Rob Delaney, Leslie Uggams, Karan Soni, and Matthew Macfadyen. It will hit the theaters on July 26, as part of Phase Five of the MCU.

The trailer for Deadpool & Wolverine wasn’t the only one to take the Super Bowl by storm. We also got the first look at Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande in Wicked, Ryan Gosling in The Fall Guy, and the cast of Lee Isaac Chung’s Twisters. New trailers for A Quiet Place: Day One, Despicable Me 4, IF, Money Man, and Kingdom of the Planet of the Apes also dropped during the Big Game.
