Scream VI is hitting the theatres in just a few days and Demi Lovato is as excited about it as the rest of us. She recorded the song “Still Alive” for the film’s soundtrack and its recently released music video sees the singer coming face to face with Ghostface.
Demi Lovato has been a huge fan of the Scream franchise from a young age, so this collaboration was a match made in heaven. The Scream universe felt like a perfect home for “Still Alive”, and the singer said she’s honored to contribute to such an iconic horror franchise.
The music video for “Still Alive” opens with Lovato heading to an exclusive movie screening with a group of friends. As the video progresses, she gets to get her own scream queen moment and puts up a fight against the film’s iconic villain, Ghostface.
The music video also features several clips from the movie, which stars Melissa Barrera, Jasmin Savoy Brown, Mason Gooding, Jenna Ortega, Hayden Panettiere, Courteney Cox, Liana Liberato, Dermot Mulroney, Tony Revolori, Josh Segarra, and Samara Weaving.
Scream VI will premiere on March 10, and it will see the survivors of Ghostface’s latest killings trying to start a new life in New York City before their past comes back to haunt them.
