He is back again! Justin Timberlake confirmed that he will headline the Super Bowl LII halftime show next year. Timberlake made the announcement via his social media accounts by posting a video sketch featuring Jimmy Fallon. The announcement came after weeks of speculation that Timberlake is the favorite to headline the show. You can check the video and the announcement below.

This, of course, isn’t the first time Justin Timberlake will find himself performing at a Super Bowl halftime show. His first appearance was at the Super Bowl XXXVIII in 2004, where he performed “Rock Your Body” alongside headliner Janet Jackson. The duo’s performance turned to controversy after Timberlake reached the final line of the song, “I’m gonna have you naked by the end of this song”, and removed a part of Jackson’s costume, revealing her right breast. The broadcast cut to the aerial view of the stadium, but not before 143 million people had the chance to see the incident. Although the incident was later described as a “wardrobe malfunction”, there were those who argued that it was a publicity stunt. Both performers apologized for the caused controversy.

Aside from headlining the Super Bowl halftime show, Timberlake is keeping himself really busy. He voiced the lead character in musical comedy Trolls alongside performing the music for the film. The lead single from the Trolls, “Can’t Stop the Feeling!” debuted at No. 1 on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and eventually became the best-selling song of the year in the United States. Although Timberlake currently works on his fifth album, he is also active as an actor and had a supporting role in Woody Allen’s upcoming film Wonder Wheel.
