Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will kick off the highly-anticipated Phase 5 of the MCU and Marvel finally gave us a taste of things to come. The first trailer for this movie is here and it introduces us to Jonathan Majors’ new villain, Kang the Conqueror.

The trailer opens with Kang’s voiceover addressing Paul Rudd’s titular hero, saying, “You’re an interesting man, Scott Lang. You’re an Avenger, you have a daughter, but you’ve lost a lot of time, like me. We can help each other with that.”

As the trailer progresses, Kang introduces himself as the man that can give Lang the one thing he wants: time. The remainder of the trailer features some of the film’s most exciting action sequences, capturing the show-down between Kang and Ant-Man after being transported to the Quantum Realm.

Scott Lang won’t be alone on this journey, and he’s set to reunite with The Wasp/Hope van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly). The duo will also be joined by her parents Janet van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), and Scott’s daughter Cassie Lang (Kathryn Newton), as they push the limits of what they thought is possible in the Quantum Realm.

Ant-Man and The Wasp: Quantumania will premiere on February 17, as the first film of the MCU’s Phase 5. It will be followed by Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 and The Marvels later this year.
