Megan Thee Stallion and Dua Lipa finally decided to work on their first collaboration and the final result is as sweet as it gets. Their single “Sweetest Pie” is here and it comes with a whimsical music video that draws inspiration from the tale of Hansel and Gretel.

Stallion came up with the concept for the video herself and reached out to Dave Meyers to direct it. Both singers are shown wearing creative outfits throughout the video, as they lure men into their cotton candy lair, only to lead them to their ultimate demise.

The collaboration between two singers was a long-time coming, and Stallion was inspired to make it happen after hearing the mashups of their music. She’s no stranger to A-list team-ups, but she told Zane Lowe that she wants to be a little bit pickier about her collaborations in the future.

“I felt like [‘Sweetest Pie’] was right because it felt right for both of us. This year with my collabs, I want it to be very organic to me, very organic to whoever I’m collaborating with,” explained Stallion.

“Sweetest Pie” will serve as the lead single on Stallion’s upcoming second studio album, which still doesn’t have a title or release date.
