The post Jennifer Garner to Reprise Elektra Role in “Deadpool 3” appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>Garner made her debut as Elektra in the 2003 superhero flick Daredevil, which was led by Ben Affleck. Despite being a critical failure, this film produced a spin-off Elektra, which did even worse than the first film and bombed at the box office, failing to earn back its budget.
Garner reportedly only agreed to reprise the role because she was contractually obligated. She later expressed regret over the fact that this project didn’t meet the quality of the newer Marvel movies.
“It’s such a shame, honestly, because once Kevin [Feige] took over everything there was elevated: the writing, the direction, the comedy inside of the stories they were telling. And I did not have that experience,” Garner told The Hollywood Reporter.
Deadpool 3 will arrive in theatres on May 3, 2024, and its cast is packed with talent! In addition to Ryan Reynolds in the titular role, this project will also star Morena Baccarin, Brianna Hildebrand, Emma Corrin, Matthew Macfadyen, and Hugh Jackman as Wolverine.

Last week marked the 20th anniversary since Alias premiered (yes, we feel old) and Garner had been trying to get in touch with her castmate Carl Lumbly who played Marcus Dixon.
The exchange didn’t go quite as planned, but the mom-of-three doesn’t take herself too seriously and posted it to the ‘gram.
Humbling, indeed…
Now, can someone please tell Carl to text her?!
