Industry is set in the world of banking and trading, and centers on a group of young graduates trying to make a name for themselves at a prestigious investment bank in London. Harington will join the series as Henry Muck, the CEO and Founder of Lumi, an exciting green tech energy company that’s about to go public.

Harington previously starred in HBO’s Game of Thrones, and went on to appear in Marvel’s Eternals and Apple TV’s Extrapolations after this series wrapped up. He’s expected to continue Jon Snow’s story in the spin-off series, but this project is still in the early stages of development.

Industry features a large cast that often differs from episode to episode, including Marisa Abela, Myha’la Herrold, Harry Lawtey, Ken Leung, David Jonsson, Conor MacNeill, Freya Mavor, Sarah Parish, Will Tudor, and many more.

The upcoming third season will feature a total of eight episodes, and the production will kick off later this month.

According to Martin, the sequel is being developed under the working title SNOW, and it’s one of the four live-action successors shows in development at HBO. He claims it’s been in development for almost as long as the others, but they kept it under the wraps until the news was leaked.

Martin detailed the project in a lengthy post on his blog and confirmed this show is Harington’s brainchild after his former co-star Emilia Clarke suggested so in a recent interview.

“It was Kit Harrington who brought the idea to us. I cannot tell you the names of the writers/ showrunners since that has not been cleared for release yet… but Kit brought them in too, his own team, and they are terrific,” wrote Martin.

Nothing is official until this show goes to series and it was previously reported it’s still in “exploratory stages”. Game of Thrones ended with Jon Snow going back to Castle Black and leading the wildlings to take back their lands beyond the Wall, so it’s likely that the sequel will pick up from there.

Things are busy for Marvel and Disney at the D23 Expo this weekend in Anaheim, and fans are getting news and updates by the earful.  

This time we hear that Kit Harrington is heading to the Marvel Cinematic Universe for a super-secret role. All we know is that he will join one of Marvel and Kevin Feige’s superhero franchises. Deadline reports, however, that it’s safe to assume that additional details of the role and project will be revealed before the weekend is out.

Harrington follows other GoT alums that have joined the MCU including Richard Madden who will play Icarus in The Eternals and Peter Dinklage who appeared in Avengers: Infinity War.

The end of the show sees Jon stabbing his beloved aunt turned mad queen, Daenerys, to death and being sent to the wall, ending up going north with his wildling friends. According to Harington “It felt like (Jon) was set free. It was a really sweet ending. As much as he had done a horrible thing, as much as he had felt that pain, the actual ending for him was finally being released.”

Harington has also revealed in the interview that the scene of him stabbing Daenerys, played by Emilia Clarke was one of the most difficult scenes they have filmed due to it being highly charged and emotionally powerful shoot. According to him, the shooting took over three weeks, though the scene does not have a lot of dialog.

At that point, an audience member — who looked suspiciously like co-star, Emilia Clarke — asked if he could at least give a sense as to how the series ends.

“Wait a second, Emilia, you’re in the show, you know already…” Kit began, before she responded by saying, “Yeah, but I forgot. It’s just been so damn long since the last season. Plus a lot of my scenes are talking to a dragon which is just a tennis ball on a green pole…”

Someone else who was confused about how it all ends for his character was John Bradley who plays Samwell Tarly.

“They only let me see two pages of the script,” he explained.

But perhaps the most pressing question was from Kit’s wife and former co-star, Rose Leslie.

“What are we gonna do for money now? You kept telling me ‘I’m king of the north, we can order Uber Eats whenever we want…”

With the final season of Game of Thrones premiering next month, the actor behind the King in the North is set to make his debut on Saturday Night Live.

Kit Harington will take on hosting duties on the 6th of April — one week before his fur-clad alter-ego returns to Westeros.

The 32-year-old will not be the only virgin on the late-night sketch show. His musical guest, Sara Bareilles, will also be making her first appearance on SNL, a day after her 6th studio album, Amidst the Chaos, is released.

It is proving to be an exciting season for SNL.

Killing Eve star, Sandra Oh, is also due to make her hosting debut on the 30th of March, while Academy Award winner Emma Stone will return to the stage for a 4th time alongside first-timers, Korean band BTS, on the 13th of April.

Harington discussed Game of Thrones finale during his appearance at 2018 Toronto International Film Festival and hinted that there will be fans who won’t be too happy with the show’s ending.

“I think a TV series that’s spanned eight, nine years is an incredibly difficult thing to end,” –said Harington, who already finished shooting on Game of Thrones. “I think not everyone’s going to be happy, you know, and you can’t please everyone. My favorite TV shows are Sopranos, Breaking Bad, and The Wire, and they all ended in a way that…It’s never going to satisfy you.”

If we read between the lines, Harington is trying to tell us that lots of our favorite characters will end up dead, something that show has been doing to us since season one. The darker outcome would be that White Walkers end up conquering the Westeros and that all our heroes turn into undead. Unfortunately, we will just have to sit here with all these crazy ideas and wait for HBO to be kind enough an release season eight at some point in 2019.

The couple said their ‘I do’s’ on Saturday in Scotland ten months after announcing their engagement. 

The official announcement was made in The London Times in September. “The engagement is announced between Kit, younger son of David and Deborah Harrington of Worcestershire, and Rose, the middle daughter of Sebastian and Candy Leslie of Aberdeenshire,” the announcement read.

The special day took place at the actress’ family’s castle, Wardhill, in Aberdeenshire. The castle has been owned by Leslie’s’ family for the past 900 years and is now a private hotel and a popular wedding spot. Leslie’s father spoke outside the church saying, “We are absolutely thrilled for Kit and Rose to be marrying today. It’s an absolutely lovely day for us.”

The wedding was, of course, a GoT fans’ dream come true as the couple’s co-stars including Peter Dinklage, Maisie Williams, Sophie Turner and Emilia Clarke were in attendance. 

The bride looked gorgeous in a long sleeve ivory lace wedding dress, a white flower crown, and cathedral veil. The handsome groom wore a long black jacket over a cream vest, white shirt, black tie and gray pinstriped pants.

The couple met on the set of the HBO hit series, playing love interests as Jon Snow and wildling Ygritte.
