The post Tom Hiddleston Bids Emotional Farewell to Marvel After “Loki” Season 2 Finale appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>Following the end of the SAG-AFTRA strike, Hiddleston set down with Jimmy Fallon to discuss the last episode of Loki and hinted he’s ready to walk away from this character.
“It’s the conclusion to Seasons 1 and 2, and it’s also the conclusion to six films and 12 episodes and 14 years of my life. 14 years. I was 29 when I was cast, I’m 42 now. It’s been a journey. In the finale, there are echoes and resonances of every version of Loki I’ve played,” said the British actor.
Hiddleston became a household name after Kenneth Branagh cast him as Loki in the first Thor movie from 2011. In the years to come, his God of Mischief went on to become one of the most iconic Marvel villains following his appearance in The Avengers.
Hiddleston continued his journey as God of Mischief in the Disney+ series Loki, which was met with positive reviews and also starred Gugu Mbatha-Raw, Owen Wilson, Sophia Di Martino, Jonathan Majors, Richard E. Grant, and Ke Huy Quan.

]]>The post “Loki” Will Come Back for Season 2 on Disney+ appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>The renewal has been simply announced through Loki’s case file stamp, which read: “Loki will return in Season 2.” Not much is known about the new season right now, and even the show’s main star Tom Hiddleston failed to confirm his comeback.
“I have learned, at this point, having said goodbye to the character more than twice, two and a half times maybe, to make no assumptions… I’m a temporary passenger on Loki’s journey, but we’ll see. We’ll see where the ride goes now,” the British actors told Deadline.
Loki sees the God of Mischief landing in hot water with the mysterious organization Time Variance Authority (TVA) after trying to steal the Tesseract. Due to its time-traveling theme, the show introduced many different variants of Loki, played by the likes of Sophia Di Martino and Richard E. Grant, so there’s room for more stories to be told in Season 2 even if Hiddleston doesn’t return.
