The post Hulu Drops “Only Murders in the Building” Season 3 Teaser Starring Meryl Streep appeared first on EverydayKoala.
]]>The teaser trailer opens with the show’s leading trio Steve Martin, Martin Short, and Selena Gomez reuniting to solve another crime, and they’ll be in pretty good company this time around! The new teaser also introduces new characters played by Paul Rudd and Meryl Streep.
To be fair, Rudd already appeared in the final minutes of the second season, as a theatre actor who seemingly has a feud with Martin’s Charles-Haden Savage. He ends up dying while performing on stage, leaving the show’s leading trio with another case to crack.
There’s more mystery surrounding Streep’s role in the series, but it’s safe to assume she’ll be one of the actors in the Broadway debut of Short’s Oliver Putnam. The trailer shows her during a table read with the rest of the actors in the play, including a character played by the newly cast Ashely Park.
Season 3 of Only Murders in the Building kicked off production in January, and it still doesn’t have an official release date.

]]>Streep’s casting was confirmed in a viral clip shared on Gomez’s TikTok, where she’s hanging out behind the scenes with Steve Martin and Martin Short. The clip also confirms the return of Andrea Martin and Paul Rudd, but the real shocker comes at the very end, with Streep popping into the frame.
Streep most recently starred in Netflix’s satirical comedy Don’t Look Up alongside Leonardo DiCaprio and Jennifer Lawrence. Only Murders in the Building will be her first television project since Big Little Lies, for which she received Golden Globe and Emmy nominations.
Hulu confirmed Streep’s casting, but they didn’t share any details about her character. Rudd’s involvement was teased during the Season 2 finale when he played a theatre actor Ben Glenroy, who suddenly dies while performing on stage. Jesse Williams is also among the new cast members joining Season 3, which kicked off production earlier this month and still doesn’t have an official release date.

]]>That’s why it’s one of the most anticipated movies of the year, and Greta Gerwig finally gave us a sneak peek into her latest project.
The Oscar-nominated screenwriter and director recently set down with Vanity Fair to discuss her adaptation of Louisa May Alcott’s classic novel and used the opportunity to share the first look at this period drama.
She unveiled a couple of pictures, showing the leading ladies Emma Watson, Florence Pugh, Saoirse Ronan and Eliza Scanlen in character as the March sisters.
This timeless coming-of-age tale was always very close to Gerwig’s heart, and bringing it to the big screen was a deeply personal experience. Despite the fact the story is set in the post-Civil War era, Little Women always felt fairly modern because it follows several female characters, who have a very strong sense of self and are marching to the beat of their own drum.
“They were just people. They were not in a period piece, they were just living. They were the most modern people who had ever existed, up till that point,” explained Gerwig.
