Rachael Ray spent almost two decades hosting her daytime talk show, but she’s finally ready for new endeavors. The Rachael Ray Show is ending its run after 17 seasons on the air, as its host decided to move on to the next chapter of her career.

The Rachael Ray Show debuted in syndication in 2006 and it’s been distributed by CBS Television Distribution. It’s the latest daytime talk show to end its run, as the increasingly challenging daytime syndication landscape faces many changes and a lot of uncertainty.

Rachael Ray thanked all of the show’s partners, crew, and affiliates for all the wonderful years they all worked together after announcing its cancelation.

“In my more than 20-plus years in television, I have had 17 wonderful seasons working in daytime television with Rachael. However I’ve made the decision that it’s time for me to move on to the next exciting chapter in my broadcast career,” said Ray in a statement.

Following the ending of her daytime show, Rachael Ray already has her eyes set on her next project. After her passions have evolved from the talk show format production and syndication model, she’s looking forward to putting all her energy into the recently launched production company, Free Food Studios.
