Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood is just now getting to the theaters and talks about the next Quentin Tarantino project are already here.
The writer-director has said in the past that he will make one more film after Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood and it turns out we will get to see him reunited with one of his favorite stars, Uma Thurman, in a Kill Bill vol. 3 movie.
“Me and Uma have been actually [sic] talked about it recently, frankly, to tell you the truth,” Tarantino said on the Happy Sad Confused podcast earlier this month. “I’m not sure if I’m going to do it, but I have thought about it a little further”.
Tarantino revealed that Thurman’s character, the bride, was one of the characters he thought about the most since the film’s end alongside the character of Bill himself
Another hint for the possibility of a sequel is that the idea for the sequel was actually inserted into the previous films. The Bride kills Vernittaa Green in front of her daughter and tells her: “When you grow up, if you still feel raw about it, I’ll be waiting”.
But – nothing is set in stone. Rumors about Tarantino making a Star Trek film are spreading for some years now and the director himself said they are maybe true – so we’ll have to keep on waiting.
