It might seem like an ancient history now, but Ashton Kutcher and Demi Moore were once one of the biggest Hollywood power couples. However, the fairytale only lasted for six years, with the couple announcing their separation in 2011 and finalizing divorce in 2013.

Five years later, Kutcher decided to offer some insights about the way he dealt with the divorce in a conversation with Dax Shepard. The first thing he has done, Kutcher reveals, is going to the mountains in Big Sky, Montana for seven days.

“I did no food, no drink—just water and tea,” – Kutcher added. “I took all my computers away, my phone, my everything. I was there by myself, so there was no talking. I just had a notepad, a pen and water and tea—for a week.”

During his time alone, the 40-year-old actor also reflected on his past relationships and decided to write a letter to every person he felt he has some unresolved things with.

“I wrote down every single relationship that I had where I felt like there was some grudge or some anything, regret, anything,” Kutcher explained. “And I wrote letters to every single person, and on day seven, I typed them all out and then sent them. I handwrote them all and then typed them out and sent them.”

After the divorce from Demi Moore, Ashton Kutcher started dating his former That ’70s Show co-star Mila Kunis. The two started their relationship in 2012 and ended up getting engaged in 2014. Shortly after the engagement, Kunis gave birth to their first child, daughter Wyatt. The got married in 2015, and in 2016 they had another child, son Dimitri.
