]]>Directed by Swift herself, the music video for “Fortnight” sees the singer fully embracing the madness of being in love. Most of the video takes place inside a mental asylum, where the Dead Poets Society stars Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles conduct experiments on Swift alongside Post Malone, who also plays her co-worker and love interest in the video.
“Fortnight” was released as the lead single from The Tortured Poets Department, and bringing Post Malone for the ride was a dream come true for Swift.
“I’ve been such a huge fan of Post because of the writer he is, his musical experimentation, and those melodies he creates that just stick in your head forever. got to witness that magic come to life firsthand when we worked together on ‘Fortnight,’” she wrote on social media.
“Fortnight” serves as the opening track of Swift’s latest studio album The Tortured Poets Department, which hit the shelves on April 19. Its standard edition features a total of 16 brand-new songs, but Swift also released the second volume subtitled The Anthology, which features 15 more tracks.

SEA units made up 232,000 album units, equaling 300.41 million official streams, which marks the largest streaming week of Beyoncé’s career. Cowboy Carter also earned 168,000 units in pure album sales, helping Beyoncé top Billboard’s Album Sales charts and net the largest vinyl week of her career, since vinyl copies amounted to 62,000 of the units sold.
Beyoncé’s decision to put her own twist on country with Cowboy Carter also helped her make history on Billboard’s Top Country Albums chart. She became the first Black woman to ever rise to the top, after setting a similar record on the Hot Country Songs chart with the album’s lead single “Texas Hold ‘Em”.

]]>Based on Darcey Bell’s book of the same name, A Simple Favor told the tale of a small-town vlogger who finds herself wrapped up in an investigation involving her mysterious rich friend. Paul Feig directed the first film, and he’s returning to helm the sequel, while Jessica Sharzer came back to write the script.
A Simple Favor 2 will also feature many familiar faces in front of the camera. Kendrick and Lively will return in the lead roles, and they won’t be alone. The film’s supporting cast includes the original cast members Henry Golding, Andrew Rannells, Bashir Salahuddin, Joshua Satine, Ian Ho, and Kelly McCormack.
Stephanie Smothers (Kendrick) and Emily Nelson (Lively) will head to Capri, Italy for their next adventure. Emily’s getting ready to host an extravagant wedding to a rich Italian businessman, but the film’s official logline promises “more twists and turns than the road from the Marina Grande to the Capri town square”, with murder and betrayal awaiting those who dare to RSVP.

Season 2 will also star Matt Smith, Eve Best, Steve Toussaint, Fabien Frankel, Ewan Mitchell, Sonoya Mizuno, and Rhys Ifans, along with several newcomers to Westeros, including Abubakar Salim, Freddie Fox, Gayle Rankin, Simon Russell Beale, and Clinton Liberty.

]]>The Color Purple faced tough competition in American Fiction, Origin, Rustin, and They Cloned Tyrone on its quest to be named the outstanding motion picture, but it managed to beat them all.
It was also a night to remember for its cast members Fantasia Barrino, Colman Domingo, Taraji P. Henson, and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi, all of whom collected individual acting awards, in addition to winning a trophy for the outstanding ensemble cast in a motion picture together.
As for the TV categories, Abbott Elementary emerged as the biggest winner with three awards, including outstanding comedy series. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story dominated the drama categories with two trophies, including the coveted outstanding drama series prize.
After winning big at this year’s Grammys, Victoria Monét also led the way at the NAACP Image Awards, winning two of the night’s main awards in the music field: outstanding new artist and outstanding album. Chris Brown also had a reason to celebrate after picking up three awards for his collaborations “How We Roll” ft. Ciara and “Sensational” ft. Davido and Lojay.

]]>Lana Condor (To All the Boys film series) and Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) will soon appear in the third season of Abbott Elementary, alongside Cree Summer (A Different World), Tatyana Ali (The Young and the Restless), and Karan Soni (Miracle Workers).
We don’t know much about their characters at this point, but they’re expected to join the Abbott teachers in the upcoming weeks. Summer will be the first guest star gracing the halls of Abbott Elementary in the upcoming episode “Librarian”, set to air on March 13.
The guest-starring lineup of Abbott Elementary was pretty packed even before these five actors hopped on board. The Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, Brandon Graham, and Jason Kelce made cameos during the season premiere, while Bradley Cooper appeared as himself in a recent episode that aired after the Academy Awards ceremony.
Season 3 of Abbott Elementary premiered on ABC on February 7, and it will feature a total of 12 episodes. Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, William Stanford Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph lead the show’s ensemble cast, alongside new recurring players Josh Segarra, Kimia Behpoornia, and Benjamin Norris.

]]>According to Apple’s official logline, Outcome will star Keanu Reeves as Reef, a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip.
Outcome will mark Hill’s first live-action film as a director since his feature film debut Mid90s in 2018. He also co-wrote the script alongside Ezra Woods and he’ll produce this dark comedy with Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under their Strong Baby banner.
Diaz’s involvement in this project is a good sign for her fans because it seems she’s ready to un-retire from acting for good. This news comes shortly after she agreed to end her hiatus by joining Jamie Foxx in the Netflix action-comedy Back in Action.
Diaz has been retired from acting since 2014 when she starred in the films The Other Woman, S-x Tape, and Annie. Her decade-long break gave her enough time to focus on her endeavors as a bestselling author and entrepreneur.

After he hits a losing streak, she decides to help him get back on his feet by signing him up for a low-level Challenger event, where he’ll face his most formidable opponent yet in his former friend and Tashi’s ex-lover Patrick.
Challengers was supposed to open the Venice Film Festival last year, but MGM was forced to pull out of its event due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. After several major delays, this film is now set for the April 26 premiere date.

The identity of Taylor-Joy’s character remains a mystery, but Dune fans made a pretty good guess. Rumors are swirling around that she joined the franchise in the role of Paul Atreides’ sister Alia Atreides, the only major character missing from the call sheet.
Taylor-Joy will join the fellow newcomers to the Dune universe, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Léa Seydoux, while Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem will reprise their roles from the previous films.
Dune: Part Two will get its international release on February 28, before debuting in the US theatres on March 1.

]]>The Color Purple faced tough competition in American Fiction, Origin, Rustin, and They Cloned Tyrone on its quest to be named the outstanding motion picture, but it managed to beat them all.
It was also a night to remember for its cast members Fantasia Barrino, Colman Domingo, Taraji P. Henson, and Phylicia Pearl Mpasi, all of whom collected individual acting awards, in addition to winning a trophy for the outstanding ensemble cast in a motion picture together.
As for the TV categories, Abbott Elementary emerged as the biggest winner with three awards, including outstanding comedy series. Queen Charlotte: A Bridgerton Story dominated the drama categories with two trophies, including the coveted outstanding drama series prize.
After winning big at this year’s Grammys, Victoria Monét also led the way at the NAACP Image Awards, winning two of the night’s main awards in the music field: outstanding new artist and outstanding album. Chris Brown also had a reason to celebrate after picking up three awards for his collaborations “How We Roll” ft. Ciara and “Sensational” ft. Davido and Lojay.

]]>Lana Condor (To All the Boys film series) and Keegan-Michael Key (Key & Peele) will soon appear in the third season of Abbott Elementary, alongside Cree Summer (A Different World), Tatyana Ali (The Young and the Restless), and Karan Soni (Miracle Workers).
We don’t know much about their characters at this point, but they’re expected to join the Abbott teachers in the upcoming weeks. Summer will be the first guest star gracing the halls of Abbott Elementary in the upcoming episode “Librarian”, set to air on March 13.
The guest-starring lineup of Abbott Elementary was pretty packed even before these five actors hopped on board. The Philadelphia Eagles’ Jalen Hurts, Brandon Graham, and Jason Kelce made cameos during the season premiere, while Bradley Cooper appeared as himself in a recent episode that aired after the Academy Awards ceremony.
Season 3 of Abbott Elementary premiered on ABC on February 7, and it will feature a total of 12 episodes. Quinta Brunson, Tyler James Williams, Janelle James, Lisa Ann Walter, Chris Perfetti, William Stanford Davis, and Sheryl Lee Ralph lead the show’s ensemble cast, alongside new recurring players Josh Segarra, Kimia Behpoornia, and Benjamin Norris.

]]>According to Apple’s official logline, Outcome will star Keanu Reeves as Reef, a damaged Hollywood star who must dive into the dark depths of his past to confront his demons and make amends after he is extorted with a mysterious video clip.
Outcome will mark Hill’s first live-action film as a director since his feature film debut Mid90s in 2018. He also co-wrote the script alongside Ezra Woods and he’ll produce this dark comedy with Matt Dines and Ali Goodwin under their Strong Baby banner.
Diaz’s involvement in this project is a good sign for her fans because it seems she’s ready to un-retire from acting for good. This news comes shortly after she agreed to end her hiatus by joining Jamie Foxx in the Netflix action-comedy Back in Action.
Diaz has been retired from acting since 2014 when she starred in the films The Other Woman, S-x Tape, and Annie. Her decade-long break gave her enough time to focus on her endeavors as a bestselling author and entrepreneur.

]]>After clinching a Grammy and a Golden Globe for “What Was I Made For?” from Barbie, Billie Eilish and Finneas O’Connell will enter the ceremony as the front-runners for the best original song Oscar. Before the winners are announced, they’ll hit the stage for another powerful rendition of this moving ballad.
“I’m Just Ken” from Barbie is also vying for the best original song award, and Ryan Gosling is ready to infuse the Oscars with Kenergy. Mark Ronson, who co-wrote this catchy bop, will join him during the live performance.
Becky G will grace the stage with her take on Diane Warren’s “The Fire Inside” from Flamin’ Hot, while Jon Batiste will perform a rendition of “It Never Went Away” from American Symphony. Scott George and the Osage Singers will also join the lineup and try to captivate the audience with “Wahzhazhe (A Song For My People)” from Killers of the Flower Moon.
The 2024 Academy Awards will take place at the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles on March 10, with Jimmy Kimmel hosting the festivities.

The first time they cross paths, Tashi is a young tennis protégé with a bright future ahead of her… but not for too long. The trajectory of her life completely changes after she suffers a major injury, which forces her to leave professional tennis for good and become a coach instead.
Tashi embraces her new calling, helping her husband Art become a Grand Slam champion. After he hits a losing streak, she decides to help him get back on his feet by signing him up for a low-level Challenger event, where he’ll face his most formidable opponent yet in his former friend and Tashi’s ex-lover Patrick.
Challengers was supposed to open the Venice Film Festival last year, but MGM was forced to pull out of its event due to the SAG-AFTRA strike. After several major delays, this film is now set for the April 26 premiere date.

]]>Taylor-Joy hit the red carpet in a white Dior gown with a hooded veil and discussed her involvement in an interview which streamed live on Warner Bros’ TikTok page.
“This is a dream come true. The books are incredible, but with this cast and with Denis [Villeneuve], it doesn’t get any better than that,” said the Golden Globe-winning actress.
The identity of Taylor-Joy’s character remains a mystery, but Dune fans made a pretty good guess. Rumors are swirling around that she joined the franchise in the role of Paul Atreides’ sister Alia Atreides, the only major character missing from the call sheet.
Taylor-Joy will join the fellow newcomers to the Dune universe, Austin Butler, Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Léa Seydoux, while Timothée Chalamet, Rebecca Ferguson, Josh Brolin, Stellan Skarsgård, Dave Bautista, Zendaya, Charlotte Rampling, and Javier Bardem will reprise their roles from the previous films.
Dune: Part Two will get its international release on February 28, before debuting in the US theatres on March 1.
