The Batman solo movie in the DC extended universe is due to be released only in June 2021, but filming is already underway. Naturally, a stream of photos leaked from the set is hitting social media and the most recent batch may be offering a glimpse of one of the main characters – The Penguin, played by colin Farrell.
Wade Gravett works near the set of the movie in London. He posted a bunch of photos on his Twitter account. The photos are shot from a distance and mainly show the set in general and vehicles on the streets of Gotham City. However, in a couple of photos, a man that resembles Farrell can be seen dressed as the villain. He is shown wearing blond hair and a black coat and holding an umbrella, presumably dressed as Oswald Cobblepot.
It should be noted that Gravett himself is not sure whether it is indeed Farell in the photo. It seems like it, but you can look and decide for yourself.
Alongside Farrell, The Batman stars Robert Pattison as the titular vigilante, Zoë Kravitz, Andy Serkis, Paul Dano, Jeffrey Wright, John Turturro, Jayme Lawson, and Peter Sarsgaard. It is directed by Matt Reeves.
