Hey, Harry Potter fans — Relax. Have a butterbeer. You’re in good hands.

It’s been almost a week that loyalists have been doing their best impersonation of Hermione Granger following what seems to be a plothole the size of Hogwarts itself in the new trailer for Fantastic Beasts 2: The Crimes of Grindelwald.

The trailer opens with magical law enforcement officials Apparating onto the grounds of the infamous school of witchcraft and wizardry as they search for Newt Scamander (played once again by Eddie Redmayne).

Cue the Hermione: “You can’t Apparate inside the Hogwarts grounds, how often do I have to tell you?”

The scene has left fans wondering if we’re to expect something cooked up by the likes of Gilderoy Lockhart for all its inaccuracies come November 16th.

But, alas, fear not, because enlightenment has arrived in the darkest of times.

Jessica Williams, who stars in the film (meaning she’s read the entire script!) is being the modern-day Dumbledore, expelling Boggarts and allaying concerns.

“David Yates and Jo [wrote the script]. Who knows more about the Potter universe person than the person who created it? Nobody. Not a single person,” the actress said. “Don’t you think that will be addressed in the film? Don’t you think there was a reason for it? Do you think you know more than she does on this subject?”

She makes a good point.

Now, about that butterbeer…
