If you’re always in the mood for an amazing romcom, Meet Cute is definitely worth waiting for. This romantic comedy is coming to Peacock this fall and the first look at its leading duo Pete Davidson and Kaley Cuoco is finally here.
Meet Cute centers on a young woman named Sheila, who travels back in time to repeat the first meeting between her and Gary in an attempt to engineer love at first sight. After he fails to measure up to her vision of perfection, Sheila starts traveling further and further back in time, determined to shape him into the man of her dreams.
Meet Cute was directed by Alex Lehmann, who’s excited for audiences to get swept away on this wild romantic ride, as they search for answers to some existential questions that we all face.
“If I had a time machine right now I’d be torn. Do I skip ahead to our release date or do I go back and relive the joy it was making this film? Lucky for me it’s a decision I don’t get to make,” said Lehmann in a statement.
Meet Cute was filmed in New York City in August last year, and it will premiere exclusively on Peacock on September 21.
