Meghan Markle seems to be following in the footsteps of her late mother-in-law as the People’s Princess.
Princess Diana was renowned for her charitable endeavors which aimed to empower ordinary civilians. Meghan appears to be following suit, if her latest encounter is anything to go by.
The Duchess of Sussex did her part for the One25 organisation which aims to help sex workers break free from prostitution.
Food parcels are scheduled to be handed out to the women at the end of the week, and Meghan decided to add some encouragement by writing positive messages on the bananas that will be included.
These included sentiments such as, “You are strong,” “You are special,” and You are brave!” with little hearts alongside them.
The royal says that the idea was inspired by a woman in the US who, as part of a school lunch program,
wrote affirmations on bananas to make the children feel empowered.
