Natalie Portman Would Love to Meet Her “Star Wars” Son Mark Hamill

Mark Hamill recently went on Twitter and revealed that he has never met Natalie Portman, despite the fact that they both starred in the Star Wars franchise. Besides that, the characters they portrayed in the Star Wars universe have a deep bond. In the Star Wars prequel trilogy, Portman played Padmé Amidala, mother of Luke Skywalker, who is played by Hamill in the original trilogy. Amazing, right?

Well, Star Wars mother and son could soon be reunited. Natalie Portman recently made an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert and said she would love to meet Mark Hamill.

“It’s such a shame, I would love to meet him,” said Portman when asked how it is possible that they never met.

“Mark, I would love to meet you. Where are you? Come over,” she continued.

On June 9, Natalie Portman’s 37th birthday, Mark Hamill decided to retweet a happy birthday card for Portman posted by Star Wars official Twitter profile. Hamill decided to caption a retweet with an interesting reveal. “FUN FACT: I’ve never met this woman,” he wrote, causing his followers to react in disbelief.

Hamill then decided to top it off, by revealing another Star Wars “familial fun fact.” He never met his “infant self.”

We hope this will all change soon, and that Hamill will soon meet his entire Star Wars family.
