It’s time to venture into world of Wakanda.

In less than three days, Marvel’s Black Panther will be released in theaters across the world. This will be the first time audiences will see this character since Marvel’s Captain America: Civil War, which was released in May 2016.

Marvel fans are very excited about the release of this film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, National Research group (NRG), Hollywood’s leading tracking service, predicts that the film could gross over $165 million over this President’s Day Weekend. If this holds true – this would be the largest film opening for the month of February. Currently, Deadpool holds this title with an opening weekend of $152.2 million.

Currently, Marvel’s Black Panther holds a fresh 97% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, however, this rating may change when the film is released on Friday in the United States.

So far the critics love this new Marvel film.

Peter Travers of Rolling Stone writes “Thrillingly and thoughtfully directed and written (with Joe Robert Cole) by Ryan Coogler, the film lights up the screen with a full-throttle blast of action and fun. That’s to be expected.”

Leah Greenblatt of Entertainment Weekly writes that “It’s hard to find a weak spot in the stacked cast, even the ones who only have a few brief scenes.”

Marvel’s Black Panther will be released in the United States on February 16.
