A reboot of the 2011 series is currently in the works.
ABC is bringing back Revenge with a follow-up series from the original series’ creator and executive producer Mike Kelley and writer-producer Joe Fazzio.
The series will follow a young Latina immigrant. Guided by an original series character (and reportedly a fan favorite) as she arrives in Malibu to exact revenge on a Sackler-esque pharmaceutical dynasty, whose insatiable greed leads to the murder of her biochemist mother, the destruction of her family, and a global epidemic.
The project is in very early stages of development and there are currently no actors attached to the project.
The original series, which ran for four-season, starred Emily VanCamp and Madeleine Stowe.
