Ryan Murphy Reveals Another Big Hint About AHS: Season 8

Ryan Murphy has revealed another exciting hint about the upcoming eighth season of American Horror Story.

The creator of AHS tweeted earlier today that the next installment of the show will be a crossover between season’ one’s Murder House and season three’s Coven. Earlier this year, he hinted at the idea of a crossover and now it’s finally on its way.

“The Coven/Murder House AHS crossover season won’t be happening next year…because it’s happening THIS YEAR. AHS #8 WITCHES RULE THIS SEPTEMBER”, Murphy tweeted.

Murder House takes place in a family home and is a story of haunting unlike any other. Coven, on the other hand, takes place in New Orleans and follows a Coven of Salem witches.

Sarah Paulson and Evan Peters, who starred in Murder House and Coven will be returning for the new season, alongside Kathy Bates. Joan Collins will also be joining the cast of the new season.

Earlier this week, Murphy teased that season eight will be a “very high concept” and said that: “It’s a season unlike anything we’ve done because there’s a big hook to it. There’s a huge thing that happens in episode five.”

The eighth season of American Horror Story will air in September on FX.
