How is the classic 1990s sitcom Seinfeld relevant to Spider-Man or the Marvel Cinematic Universe? It’s hard to tell, but it seems like at least in the minds of the producers there is some connection.

After Sony and Marvel managed to bridge their differences after last year’s rift, Tom Holland’s Spider-Man will stay in the MCU and the production of the next installment is a go. Now, the production got a working title and keeping up the tradition from the previous two movies, it’s Seinfeld related. The working title for the new project is Serenity Now.

The working title for the first movie Spider-Man: Homecoming was Summer of George which was the name of one of the show’s episodes. The working title for the sequel, Spider-Man: Far from Home, continued the theme — it was Fall of George. Now, the new title breaks the trend a little but not very much. Serenity Now is an episode name from Seinfeld’s season 9 and one of the show’s more recognizable catchphrases.

Production of the new movie is set to begin this summer and the movie is to be released in July 2021. Details about the plot are kept strictly secret.
