Each episode features a new set of colorful characters, with Adrien Brody, Dascha Polanco, Ron Perlman, Chloë Sevigny, Brandon Micheal Hall, Judith Light, and many more in guest roles.
NBCUniversal Television and Streaming’s Susan Rovner described Poker Face as one of those rare, undeniable shows that they fell in love with from the very start, adding that the critical response has been beyond their wildest dreams.
“Working alongside the creative genius of Rian Johnson, Natasha Lyonne, and Ram Bergman, along with our partners at MRC and T-Street, has been a spectacular ride, and we can’t wait to hit the road for another season as we continue to build momentum across Peacock’s originals slate,” said Rovner in a statement.
Poker Face premiere on Peacock on January 26, and new episodes are still airing, while the season finale is set to premiere on March 9.

]]>Even before Knives Out was released in 2019, writer and director Rian Johnson had envisioned more films starring Daniel Craig as the unconventional detective. In March last year, Netflix acquired the rights to produce two sequels, with the first due out later this year.
The streamer has now confirmed that Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery will hit screens on December 23.
While the original film took place in a Massachusetts mansion, Glass Onion is set on a private Greek island where someone winds up dead. Johnson is once again directing, while the No Time to Die actor will reprise his role as Blanc.
“I’m always fishing for something fun that Blanc can grab onto as an overwrought metaphor that he can beat to death,” Johnson said. “This is all in plain sight from the very start. So, the idea of glass came to me, something that’s clear. I’ll be very honest. I literally got out my iPhone and searched my music library with the word ‘glass.’ There’s got to be some good glass songs. I was like, ‘Oh, is it a glass fortress? Is it a glass castle? Is it a glass man?’ The first thing that came up, because I’m a huge Beatles fan, is ‘Glass Onion.’”
Craig will be joined by an all-star ensemble cast comprising of Edward Norton, Janelle Monáe, Leslie Odom Jr, Kate Hudson, Madelyn Cline, Dave Bautista, Jessica Henwick, and Kathryn Hahn.
Glass Onion: A Knives Out Mystery is scheduled to have its world premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival in September.

Critically acclaimed filmmaker wrote the script over the summer but had a hard time picturing the right person in the lead role. His problem was solved once he’s heard Daniel Craig finally has some free time on his hands.
“I have been a huge fan and always wanted to work with Craig… He’s an actor of extraordinary range, and we are looking forward to the fun of finding that modern detective and collaborating with Daniel on creating a new Poirot,” said Johnson.
Knives Out is partially inspired by his love of Agatha Christie murder mysteries and follows a detective trying to solve a violent crime in a contemporary setting. Johnson will produce the movie alongside Ram Bergman. They’ve been working together since 2005 when the director rose to prominence thanks to his brilliant debut Brick. ]]>“I’m looking at everything right now,” Johnson said during his interview with Digital Spy. “I’m honestly just in this very nice ‘OK, what is this thing going to be?’ phase. Really, the only goal I have is to think about how Star Wars made me feel as a kid. And that’s it. I’m trying to capture: what is that, if it’s not iconography that we recognize, necessarily, from the original trilogy? What captures that spirit? What can be that for a kid who’s never heard of Star Wars? It’s getting back to the very fundamental questions of what makes this what it is.”
The 44-year-old director previously revealed that he has already started working on the project, and wants to create the entire story of the trilogy before starting with the first installment.
“I’m gonna come up with the whole thing, the idea is to come up with one big story, but I know I’m gonna write and direct at least the first one,” he said during a recent interview with Collider.
Besides the Rian Johnson’s trilogy, Disney attached Game of Thrones showrunners David Benioff and D. B. Weiss to also create a trilogy of movies.
