The Boys season 2 finally has a release date and the good news is, it’s coming sooner than you think!

Season two will land on Amazon Prime on September 4. The news was announced following a YouTube reunion that featured the cast of the show. The show was hosted by Patton Oswalt and featured a Q&A where questions were asked and answered about the new season.

One of the most unexpected revelations was that the second season will introduce a new supervillain to the mix. Stormfront will replace Translucent in the Seven and is rumored to be even worse—or at least on par—with the all-powerful Homelander.

Stormfront is portrayed by You’re The Worst Star Aya Cash. Cash said about her character: “I think Stormfront is like a nuclear bomb that goes off in The Seven. Maybe nuclear bomb isn’t the right word. We’re in Chernobyl. There you go. It’s a Chernobyl thing.

“I think she’s here to blow up Vought. She’s here to try to get Vought back to the original idea behind creating superheroes… And she can be quite the feminist. There’s a lot of, I wouldn’t say misdirect, but she also is a very empowered woman.”
