The recent split between Disney and Sony took the whole world by storm, and there’s only one thing that’s been on everyone’s mind ever since – what the hell is going to happen to Spider-Man? If the actor behind this character is to be trusted, the future looks bright for our favorite teen superhero.

Tom Holland discussed what comes next with Entertainment Weekly, and it seems like he’s not as worried about Spidey’s future as the rest of us.

“All I know is that I’m going to continue playing Spider-Man and having the time of my life. It’s going to be so fun, however, we choose to do it. The future for Spider-Man will be different, but it will be equally as awesome and amazing, and we’ll find new ways to make it even cooler,” said Holland.

If Disney and Sony don’t manage to strike a new deal, we’ll no longer get to see Peter Parker in the upcoming MCU movies. Two studios managed to find common ground in 2016, and Holland has appeared in five Marvel movies since. The rift between two studios emerged after Sony refused to share co-financing with Disney on future Spider-Man solo films.
