The Acolyte will take us back to the final days of the High Republic and it’s inviting us to explore its shadowy secrets and emerging dark side powers. A respected Jedi master Sol (Lee Jung-jae) will guide us on this journey, along with a former Padawan Mae (Amandla Stenberg).

Mae is a powerful warrior from Sol’s past, who finds herself swept up into a sinister mystery. She must join forces with her former Jedi master Sol and investigate a series of crimes, each one more menacing than the last.

Squid Game’s Lee Jung-jae and The Hunger Games actress Amandla Stenberg lead the star-studded cast of this series, which also includes Manny Jacinto (The Good Place), Dafne Keen (Logan), Charlie Barnett (Russian Doll), Jodie Turner-Smith (Queen & Slim), Rebecca Henderson (Single Drunk Female), and Carrie-Anne Moss (Matrix).

The Acolyte will feature a total of eight episodes, and the first two will debut on Disney+ on June 4.

Lipa has been teasing the release of Radical Optimism since last fall when she gave us a taste of things to come with the lead single “Houdini”. Many months have passed since, and she finally shared all the important info about this album, including its title, release date, tracklist, and cover.

The cover art shows Lipa relaxing in the ocean while a shark swims around her, and it perfectly conveys the thought behind its title Radical Optimism.

“A couple of years ago, a friend introduced me to the term Radical Optimism […] and I became more curious as I started to play with it and weave it into my life. It struck me – the idea of going through chaos gracefully and feeling like you can weather any storm,” said Lipa in a statement.

Radical Optimism will come out on May 3, and it will feature 11 brand-new songs. “Houdini” was released as its lead single, followed by “Training Season”, which Lipa teased during her performance at this year’s Grammy Awards.

Just a day before kicking off her new tour in Glendale, Arizona—which temporarily changed its name to Swift City, Era Zona to mark this event—Swift decided to give us one final surprise before this music extravaganza kicks off. She took to Instagram to announce she’ll be releasing four previously unreleased songs at midnight.

Once again, Swift continued sharing her versions of her old beloved tracks, as she works on re-recording her entire catalog. Three of the songs fell under this category, including “Eyes Open (Taylor’s Version),” “Safe & Sound (Ft. Joy William and John Boy Music) (Taylor’s Version),” and “If This Was a Movie (Taylor’s Version)”.

Swift also shared a brand-new song “All of the Girls You Loved Before”. It’s an outtake from her album Lover from 2019, and it’s been previously leaked online, but this is the first time that Swift officially shared it with the world.

The Eras Tour is kicking on in Glendale, Arizona on March 17, and Swift is expected to perform 52 dates before bringing the tour to a close in Inglewood, California on August 9.

Zoey 101 originally aired on Nickelodeon between 2005 and 2009, and it centered on teenage girl Zoey Brooks during her years at a prestigious boarding school Pacific Coast Academy. In the revival, Zoey and her classmates will reunite for a wedding in the present day.

The list of cast members will also include Erin Sanders (Quinn Pensky), Sean Flynn (Chase Matthews), Matthew Underwood (Logan Reese), Christopher Massey (Michael Barret), Abby Wilde (Stacey Dillsen), Jack Salvatore (Mark Del Figgalo), and Spears is excited about their reunion.

To mark the 25th year anniversary of Titanic, Paramount is bringing it back for another ride. The domestic date is yet to be set, but Disney is expected to release it internationally on February 10, 2023. A remastered version will be available in 3D 4K HDR and high-frame-rate.

Over 25 years after its release, Titanic is still fresh in people’s minds and we’re still having heated discussions about it. Many still wonder why Rose didn’t make room for Jack on that door, but James Cameron thinks it’s silly to be talking about it over two decades later.

“Had he lived, the ending of the film would have been meaningless… The film is about death and separation; he had to die. So whether it was that, or whether a smoke stack fell on him, he was going down. It’s called art, things happen for artistic reasons, not for physics reasons,” Cameron told Vanity Fair.

Titanic came out in 1997 and starred Kate Winslet and Leonardo DiCaprio as star-crossed lovers Jack and Rose. It won 11 Academy Awards, including best picture and best director.

Evans recently told MTV News that he would love to play Human Torch again and truly do this character justice, but also revealed that no one ever approached him with this idea.

“That would actually be an easier sell to me than coming back as Cap… Cap is so precious to me. And you know, I almost don’t wanna disrupt what a beautiful experience that was. But Johnny Storm, I feel like he didn’t really get his day. That was before Marvel really found its footing,” he explained.
