Sheeran was especially proud of himself as he posted the clip of the dance routine on Instagram and added #obviouslybetterthanross in caption. Cox reposted the video, writing: “Just some routine dancing with a friend.”

]]>The platform launched on May 27 and it was supposed to launch with the much-anticipated Friends reunion special, but filming has been put on hold due to the coronavirus.
Friends was on Netflix until December last year and started running exclusively on HBO Max in May. WarnerMedia paid more than $1 billion for multi-year exclusive rights to Friends and The Big Bang Theory.
The No. 2 performing show is Anna Kendrick’s Love Life, which closely follows Friends and was picked up for a second season last month.
The third spot goes to The Big Bang Theory and eight of the platform’s originals are in the top 25 series since its launch. The eight shows include Love Life, Doom Patrol, Looney Tunes Cartoons, Elmo’s Not-Too-Late Show, the ballroom competition series Legendary, Search Party, Close Enough, and Expecting Amy.

]]>Ross made that claim after he was caught sleeping with another woman. At the time, Ross was under the impression that they were on a temporary break. The subject will resurface several times during the couple’s relationship.
Friends turned 25 this year and fans are still debating who was in the right—Ross or Rachel. Now, David Schwimmer who played Ross is weighing in.
Schwimmer spoke to Jimmy Fallon on The Tonight Show and said: “People are so passionately divided on whether or not [Ross and Rachel] were ‘on a break’.” Fallon asked him for his opinion on the matter and he declared: “Yes, it’s not even a question, they were on a break.”
The actor also addressed the upcoming reunion that was due to premiere on HBO in May but was delayed. “It’s supposed to happen maybe in August, the middle of August, but honestly we’re going to wait and see another week or two if we all determine it’s really safe enough to do. And if not, then we’ll wait until it’s safe,” he said.

]]>A Friends reunion is something that fans have been seeking since, well, 2004 when the show ended. At last, it has been confirmed that the six stars of the show will be reuniting on the original set.
David Schwimmer, who played Ross Geller on the show, appeared on E! News to talk about his new comedy series, Intelligence. Naturally, the hosts couldn’t help but bring up the highly-anticipated Friends reunion and fortunately, Schwimmer was more than happy to share his feelings about the upcoming special.
“I guess what I’m honestly most looking forward to is just being in the room with those other five actors,” he said. In typical Ross Geller style, he then quipped: “It’s five, right? That was a joke.”
He then explained that he is most looking forward to being back on set. He said: “Being on the actual sound stage on the actual set for the first time in 10 years, the set that we shot on for 10 years, that to me is going to be a really meaningful experience.”
The Friends reunion will be unscripted and will take place later this year.

]]>But before you get too excited — this isn’t going to be a reboot or a revival. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer have signed on to take part in a taped unscripted reunion special for HBO Max, or in other words, the six friends will get back together to talk about their 25-year-old show.
“Guess you could call this the one where they all got back together — we are reuniting with David, Jennifer, Courteney, Matt, Lisa, and Matthew for an HBO Max special that will be programmed alongside the entire Friends library,” said Kevin Reilly, chief content officer at HBO Max in a statement. “I became aware of Friend’ when it was in the very early stages of development and then had the opportunity to work on the series many years later and have delighted in seeing it catch on with viewers generation after generation. It taps into an era when friends — and audiences — gathered together in real time and we think this reunion special will capture that spirit, uniting original and new fans.”
Directing the speech is Ben Winston who will also executive produce alongside Friends exec producers Kevin Bright, Marta Kauffman, and David Crane.
Friends ran for 10 seasons from 1994-2004 on NBC.

]]>Show creator, Marta Kaufman, has been vehemently adamant that no reboot of the beloved series would ever take place. So imagine fans’ excitement when it was announced that a reunion special would be held on HBO Max!
The special is set to feature the main cast of Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, as well as the comedy’s creators.
However, it looks like our coffee date at Central Perk may be in jeopardy…
“I don’t know,” Kaufman said when asked about the reunion’s probability. “That is the honest answer, I don’t know. People are talking about it, but I don’t know if it’s actually going to happen.”
The doubt relates to negotiations currently being at a standstill due to an eight-figure discrepancy between what the cast is seeking money-wise and what Warner Bros. studio is willing to pay.

]]>In the 4th episode of the 10th season of the hit show, Ross had taped all the friends congratulating his daughter Emma for her 18th birthday – which was due to happen in 2020. Chandler, sarcastic as usual, says: “Hi Emma, the year is 2020, are you still enjoying your nap?”
Well, 2020 is here and we think it’s time for Emma to answer. Fortunately, Noelle Sheldon, one of the two twins that have portrayed Emma on the show, agrees. On an Instagram post, Sheldon wrote: “Just woke up from the best nap of all time, happy 2020!! (ft. my poorly done photoshop) Hope everyone has an excellent year full of family, friends, and laughter!!”
The post shows Sheldon in the Central Perk holding a Central Perk cup.
So it seems the answer to Chandler’s answer is definitely a yes.

In July, HBO Max acquired the comedy for the next five years for $425 million. Netflix announced the deal with a heavy digital heart on its Twitter account, saying, “The One Where We Have To Say Goodbye. We’re sorry to see Friends go to Warner’s streaming service at the beginning of 2020 (in the US). Thanks for the memories, gang.”
The move took effect at the stroke of midnight in the United States where Friends disappeared from Netflix’s bouquet. US fans of the show will now have to go without a visit to Central Perk for at least five months as HBO Max is only expected to launch in May.
